WHY DID I START THIS BUSINESSToo much luxury travel is sold through brand recognition and glossy presentation. After visiting more than 100 countries, I learned that the best-known hotel, ship or resort is not automatically the right one. I created Expeditioner to offer candid, specific advice grounded in experience. The objective is not simply to book something impressive. It is to choose the experience that fits you.
MY TRAVEL STYLEI travel to understand how a place actually works: who thrives there, what the brochures omit, where the atmosphere changes and which details shape the trip. That may mean comparing life aboard different ships, skiing an Alpine resort at different points in the season, or following history, food and culture beyond the obvious landmarks.
MY EXPERTISEMy strongest areas are ultra-luxury and expedition cruising, Alpine skiing and culturally rich journeys across Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Latin America. I have lived in Spain, Egypt, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, speak six languages and have travelled independently for three decades. I use that perspective to compare not only what a trip includes, but how it will actually feel.
