Between us, we've been to seventy-four Club Med villages since 2005, Grand Massif among them.We know this resort well, because we've stayed there.

From our own stays

All photos are our own, from our stays at Club Med Grand Massif, France. Easter brings spring snow: it changes through the day and can be thin on the lower slopes.

A holiday you don't need a ski partner for

Your space.
A shared adventure.

You don't need to arrive with a group of friends to enjoy a ski holiday with good company.

We're bringing together travellers who want to enjoy the mountains, become more comfortable on skis and have people to meet afterwards. Come solo, with your partner or with a friend.

This is a social ski week, not a dating trip. Choose your own room and enjoy as much company, or quiet time, as you like.

01

More confidence

Club Med places you in a group lesson by level, with up to 12 people per instructor. We'll try to keep our group together; if levels differ, you ski in different classes and meet again off the slopes. Private lessons are extra.

02

Less organising

A ski-in, ski-out base, all-inclusive dining and help planning your journey. Flights, transfers and equipment hire are quoted separately.

03

Easy company

Marc Vitria, founder of Expeditioner, hosts the week at the resort: a welcome get-together on Sunday, the group evening at the speciality restaurant and optional shared dinners.

Choose how you stay

Come solo or as a couple.
Both are welcome.

Coming on your own? You won't be alone: Marc hosts the group all week, from the welcome get-together to the evening at the speciality restaurant.

Make it a full week

Seven nights to Sunday 4 April: £2,572 in your own room or £1,974 each sharing. That's two more nights for £719 (£545 each sharing), so each night costs less than on the five-night stay. The extra nights are Friday and Saturday, so with Easter Monday a bank holiday in England and Wales you still need only four days of annual leave, and you get six days on the slopes and five days of lessons.

Included in the price

  • Your room for your selected five- or seven-night stay
  • All your meals, including a group evening at the speciality restaurant
  • Drinks, alcohol included
  • Your lift pass
  • Group ski lessons at your level, up to 12 per instructor

Not included

  • Ski hire: book it through your Club Med account and collect your skis at the resort.
  • Premium drinks, private lessons and spa treatments.
  • Airport transfers, at an extra cost: we quote and book them for you.

Flights aren't in the price either; we can quote them for you.

*Club Med's published prices for UK residents, checked on 12 October 2026. Five nights from Sunday 28 March 2027, without flights or transfers. Prices move with demand, so we re-check them before every quote; no room or price is held until you book. Equipment hire is extra. Full-week prices are for seven nights, Sunday 28 March to Sunday 4 April 2027.

A simple rhythm

Arrive. Settle in.
Find your feet.

Sun 28 Mar

Arrive at Grand Massif, settle into your room and collect your skis. Welcome get-together in the evening.

Mon–Thu

Group lessons at your level, lunch on the mountain and time to yourself. One evening, the group dines together at the resort's speciality restaurant, included in the price; other shared dinners are optional.

Fri 2 Apr

Departure day. Your lift pass covers Friday, so you can ski before you leave if your flight allows; we'll confirm Friday's lesson before you book. Or stay two more nights to Sunday 4 April.

Getting there
Prices and travel details for residents of
United Kingdom · £United States · US$

From the UK: a short flight and four days' leave.

Fly to Geneva

Fly to Geneva Airport (Switzerland) on Sunday 28 March. Club Med lists the resort at about 1 hour 10 minutes away by road. We quote flights and transfers separately and check Friday's timings before you book.

Easter Monday helps

Easter Monday is a bank holiday in England and Wales, so five nights, or seven, need only four days of annual leave. Holiday entitlement varies by employer and location.

Your passport

It must have been issued less than ten years before you arrive and be valid for at least three months after you leave the Schengen area. The Entry/Exit System may take your fingerprints and photo at the border, so allow extra time.

Insurance

A GHIC covers state healthcare in France, but not repatriation or mountain rescue, so take travel insurance with winter-sports cover.

How booking works

Register now. Book once the week is confirmed.

  1. Register your interest. It's free and doesn't hold a room or fix a price.
  2. We confirm by 30 November. With 20 guests registered, the hosted week goes ahead and you get a current quote. Fewer than 20? We tell you, and you owe nothing.
  3. You book by 7 December, through us, on Club Med's own terms for where you live. Once you've booked, Marc is coming, whatever happens to numbers.

Club Med's terms for UK residents

For a resort-only booking, the standard initial payment is £165 per person; adding flights can require an additional payment upfront. The balance is due 90 days before departure, on 28 December 2026.

If you cancel 81 days or more before departure (by 6 January 2027) you lose the £165 per person paid at booking; from 80 days it's 50% of the holiday cost, from 14 days 90%, and 100% in the last three days. Source: Club Med UK's general terms and conditions.

Your protection

Expeditioner Travel is an affiliate of Fora. Bookings are made through Fora Travel, an ABTA member, and flight packages are ATOL protected under Fora's licence.

Without flights: ABTA provides consumer protection for package holidays and ensures certain standards and safeguards for travelers.

With flights: ATOL is a UK financial protection scheme that safeguards travelers if the travel business fails. You will receive an ATOL certificate confirming this protection.

Before you decide

The questions worth asking.

Will I be the only person coming alone?

Solo travellers are especially welcome, and you won't be alone: Marc hosts the group all week, from the welcome get-together on Sunday to the evening at the speciality restaurant, and you can still have your own room. The group is forming now; we won't claim its size or mix until guests have booked.

Are five full days of lessons included?

Club Med's seven-night packages include a Monday–Saturday lift pass and Monday–Friday group lessons. Our five nights include a five-day lift pass; Friday is departure day, so we'll confirm Friday's lesson before you pay. The two extra nights to Sunday 4 April avoid the question.

Can beginners and intermediates come together?

Yes. Club Med allocates you to a ski group by level, with up to 12 people per instructor, and lessons may be in French or English. We'll try to keep everyone in our group together, though classes can include other Club Med guests. Tell us your experience and the language you need, and we'll check the right class.

Will lessons and activities be available in English?

Lessons can be in French or English, so before you book we check there's an English-speaking class at your level. This week falls outside the French school holidays, and outside those weeks, in our experience, Club Med's Alpine resorts run international. If there's an activity you'd like in English, tell us and we'll check before you book.

Is this an adults-only resort?

No. Grand Massif is a family resort, and Easter week is a school holiday in the UK, so expect families too. The dining area has a dedicated section for adults only, and we'll organise an evening for our group at the resort's speciality restaurant. Our group is for adults, within a resort shared with other guests.

What's included, and what costs extra?

Included: your room, all your meals, drinks including alcohol, group ski lessons and the lift pass. Extra: equipment hire, premium drinks, private lessons, spa treatments, flights and airport transfers; we quote flights and transfers for you. Your quote shows the full amount payable.

What about spring snow?

Conditions are never guaranteed. Club Med's Snow Serenity covers stays from 21 March to 2 May 2027: on request, if at least half of the operating lifts close for lack of snow for two days running, Club Med offers a move to another of its European mountain resorts, subject to availability. It doesn't apply on Sundays, the same room category isn't guaranteed, and a mid-stay move means paying your own transfer. Club Med's policy.

Can I book now?

Not yet. Register, and your quote follows once we confirm the hosted week by 30 November. Nobody pays before we confirm hosting.

What if fewer than 20 guests register?

We tell you by 30 November, and you owe nothing. You can still book the same stay through us, without the hosted programme.

Who hosts the week?

Marc Vitria, founder of Expeditioner, is at the resort with the group all week: the welcome get-together on Sunday, the group dinner at the speciality restaurant, optional shared dinners, and one person to call if anything needs fixing. Club Med's instructors teach the lessons.
