Most of what I recommend, I have been to myself. Whether you're looking for deep cultural immersion or an active ski holiday, seeking a luxurious cruise escape, or wanting a seamless all-inclusive resort getaway, the useful part is knowing which ones are worth it and which aren't. We handle the flights, the transfers and the reservations — and whatever goes wrong once you’ve left.

Three things. I match people to ultra-luxury and expedition ships, and to Alpine resorts and the hotels in them, using CruiseLens, SkiDomain and places I have actually been. I plan the land days either side of a cruise, which is where most itineraries are won or lost. And I do the booking itself: the cabin or the room, the transfers, the reservations worth having, and the phone call when something needs fixing while you are away. I also escort the occasional group cruise or ski week.

People who have travelled enough to know the brochure does not answer their question. They are usually choosing between two or three specific options — this ship or that one, this valley or the next — and they want someone who has been to both to say which one fits them and why. Couples and families mostly, some solo travellers, some groups of friends. The common thread is that they would rather be told the famous choice is wrong for them than be sold it.

For bespoke land itineraries, including tailored pre- and post-cruise extensions, we begin with a complimentary conversation about your plans, budget and the support you need. We then quote a planning fee based on the agreed scope and complexity, payable before personalised research and itinerary design begin.
This fee covers our planning work, is separate from your travel costs and is not credited against bookings. The scope, included revisions and cancellation terms are confirmed before payment. Any additional fee for a material change to the brief is agreed in advance.
